the clips are assembly aids, if you can get the parts to stay in place without them, you dont need them.
once everything is installed and the slave is up and in postiion everything is positively held in place.
While replacing the slave cylinder the pushrod came out upon disassembly. Bugger.
I’ve read that the leaving the clip out won’t affect function and I can just insert the pushrod into the slave and as long as I make sure I line it up correctly it will work.
Can someone with experience confirm?
