 wouldn't you just steal the lower bulkhead seen in Simon's post, rear window and roof from the 110.  everything from the seatbox forward could remain Puma.  Lets be honest, there is not much in passenger or pedestrian safety improvements between the 300 tdi to Puma.  i have a 200tdi, 300tdi and Puma and there is minimal safety improvements between them (if any).    
Changing from wagon to ute will require engineering sign off to change it's body type in the transport register.   Shouldn't be too onerous if you used all LR body parts and use all the factory mounting points.
If Tony C is right that the OP's intention is to build a truck cab (style side), then the 110 single cab panel will not work without cutting up the single cab lower bulkhead and fabrication of a 1 piece bulkhead and style side truck bed.
