    Defender 130 rear coil springs

Hi, I´m new here. I live in the Black Forest in Germany and I own a 130 Td5 crew cab, mostly used as a camper with a detachable cabin.
I bought new RKB101111 rear springs having one side with the windings spaced narrower together, which I am about to fit.
The old coils are fitted with the narrower windings down, but I wonder if this is the correct way.
    Can somebody help please?
    Thank you in advance
    Pedro

FYI: I just talked with a Land Rover workshop and parts provider. They told me the narrower windings are up. This information coincides with what I could find out in the internet and after a conversation I had with a VW T2 freak. As it seems, with progressive coil springs, be it a Landy or other make, the narrow windings go always upwards. This means for some reason my 130 had the springs fitted upside down.
Anyway, I am going to fit the new ones with the narrower windings up. I bought swedish Lesfjörs main springs RKB101111 and helper springs RRC3266 from Quinton Hazell. The helper springs are marked with an arrow "UP", so no questions.
