Reply With QuoteSuspect you're probably on the money with the input bearing, ( probably one of the rollers ) but too hard to say how long it will last, drop and discard the oil and have a look at what will probably be, given the time of year, a Christmas tree of detritus on the drain plug magnet.
Given the amount of K's, a rebuild is on the cards, but the bearings in question can be changed without stripping the box if you have a long legged hydraulic puller to remove the old bearing, and can heat the new bearing to fit
