    ECU Repair

I have a late TDU ECU that has failed and won't drive the fuel pump relay.

Someone has had a look at it and said it's not repairable. (I don't know who that is.. was done by a specialist).

That ECU has only had about two years of use.. so pretty new. It was the ecu that came with the car. It's got an expensive tune which was only done last year.

Does anyone have any ideas for anyone else who might look at it?

Thanks for the replies guys. Time is unfortunately not something I've got much of on this one because unfortunately the specialist has had the ecu since the start of january, and here were are at the end of march. I only found out yesterday that it wasn't repairable, so I'm not sure its worth our easter trip. I have a spare ecu which I can use.. it's just pretty slow with the camper on.

I really need to have it going so we can do a test run in early May long weekend. I have a 10k trip in June/july (hopefully).

    How long are we talking?

These guys seem like an option. Sounds like something they do a lot of.

EDIT: I won't go remote without a spare ECU so I do need to sort something.

to look into yours, way more than the quoted x amount of days.
I do have a 15P sitting here but its for a disco 2, so no good for you.

even if i did one for a defender its going to be a few weeks, but duel tuned, no egr, and plug and drive.
