Take one for a test drive but be warned. You will buy on the spot. Only 2 down sides I can see so far 1 is that front vent flaps don't openna the 2nd is I can't buy one
.
where did you here they are noisy you cant here the engine running when you are in the car........unless you have it flat chat down the freeway
i got a bad point for yeh the window wipers whine like a pommie when they move..........
i personally find 1st a little to low for puling away in high
and they are very easy to speed in!! it pulls like all hell in 3rd
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Hi Don, where do you live?
They are not noisy compared to the oldies but they are a pretty different truck really.
Bad points depend on what your going to use it for.
In my opinion I'd probably wait another 10 months if you can as I reckon there is a bit of ironing out of issues to be resolved. I've had mine in under warranty several times and it is yet to go back again. And according to the forums over in UK I'm not the only one with a few of the issues which I've managed to get.

Hi Dion,
As a previous person said where are you? If you are in Brisbane I would be more than happy to show mine off. I have just got back from Fraser Island and given it a thorough thrashing and it was magic!
As for noise, again it depends what you are compairing it too? If you have the window down the air intake is quiet noisy once your on boostAnd they are a little noisy on the freeway athough LR boast they have made them XXdB quieter than the previous model. I have had both and they are both noisy! Around town, no drama's unless you are getting up it!
I too have had a couple of warrenty issues which I have had to go back to LR for but I am not sure waiting 10 months would help after all it's a LR
They are awsome and you certainly feel king of the road driving them even doing big sand driving beside big custom jobs they don't seem to have anything on you!
Cheers,
I live in Perth.
I was also looking at Toyota 70 series landcruiser which do,s not have the same ground clearance & not as many standard features.
Don
In my experience our dealer Southside Landrover have offered absolutely excellent service. No questions asked warranty work to the point where they go looking for you! I'm confident that even if you do have a few niggles those guys will do their best to sort if for you with the minimum of pain.
Some brands won't act on a problem even if they notice it unless the customer complains.
