Hi John,
I have to ask about the winch hawse at the top slot of the bar not the bottom, is there a reason for this? I would have thought it would put upward pressure on the winch.

If you revearse the winch so the cable comes off the top it runs just as nice but doesn't get as much mud, sand and grime in it. (well that's my theory anyway:))
