I can't vouch for the Puma but my 2001 Td5 110 has been the most reliable vehicle i've ever owned (iv’e owned a Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Volvo and others).
I’ve put 80,000kms on it in the last 2 years, it now has 210,000kms on the clock and I drive it off road regularly, its dented, scratched, runs 35” tyres and all I have replaced is wheel bearings, a front universal joint, new brake discs and pads on the front, one ball joint, and the usual oil and filter changes… these are all typical wear maintenance items with a limited lifespan as per any vehicle be it a Toyota or Lada, it has never left me stranded and it’s still going as good as the day I bought it. :D
