Yeah Mate, 2inch lift with front and rear lockers. Only standard tyre height as i had 6 come with the car. Once i wear all 6 out i will get the 33's for under it.
Going over the dunes were nice and easy. What i didn't realise was the drop off on the other side of this one. I went up and over alright. Then i came to a sudden stop. The whole way along my belly was filled in with sand. Lots of people digging me out and then we dragged me backwards. Lucky as well that i have dual belly tanks. They stopped the sand from filling in all the gaps and making it harder to dig.
In that situation Max Tracks would have helped though not as an option for self recovery without a lot of hard work digging. The sand was very soft and kept shifting back in to fill the hole.

And this is the new truck..2006 defender 130 td5 to be built to drive home to Newcastle..will be completely kitted for everything from Namibia to Newcastle.. Alaska to Antarctica..lots of performance mods also..
