Interesting - what's the "technical" name of the bar across the driver's door and the panels on the passenger door?
I have not seen either before. Are they protection for rocks, trees, wildlife or cyclists?![]()
Looks like South African number plates - CA for Cape Town and the 6 digits in two groups of three...
Alu Cab (sticker above the cab) is also a Cape Town, South Africa based business and the majoroty of the remaining gear is Front Runner, so I think its pretty certain that the pic is from there.
Alu-Cab
Cheers,
Lou

I see it has bars up either side of the front screen, and along the roof line on the sides. Perhaps they are hangers for riot screens. That thing hanging off the back door may act as a window screen perhaps, and the others just aren't fitted. I'm only guessing though.

R.E; the ALUCAB black landrover defender,
As Loubrey says it is a South African company, from what I've read on "Headpage" or whatever it's called it is alucabs own buildup of a camper.

On their website, they show 130's, but the one here looks more like a 110 CC (??).
It looks awesome which ever it is![]()
G'day Chops,
On the Headbook/Facebook/whateveritscalled page that I posted there is 39 odd photos of the 110.
One of the thing that I'm interested in, is the custom moulded dash top that is shown in some of the interior photos.
It would be good for holding a lot of my assorted crap that seems to build up in the landy.
Mike.
Hi all,
I just brought home an oldie, but a goodie.
First order of business was an epic drive to get the old girl from Darwin to Cairns.
Probably the best drive I've ever done, and the old girl made it.

Got some work to do now with a number of repairs and maintenance to do ...
Cheers,
Jon
