Fantastic photos, it looks like a great trip was had by all! Terrific seeing two xtech's together like that too.
Just home and some pics of our new 90 on its maiden voyage...
Near Gosses Bluff crater (background) NT
X-Tech twins at Yalara NT, what are the chances! We had the good fortune to run into Sue on her way home from the Canning, her 90 is just awesome, and Sue herself was great craic.
A real highlight ... waking up to The Ghan trundling by our campsite, about 40k north of Marla SA. Lots of waves that morning, luckily we were dressed
Along the Oodnadatta track on the way home. We passed a small convoy of 110's just north of William Creek, great waves guys but sorry we didn't stop to chat whoever you were.
Quick night in the Flinders on the way home. Not a great shot but wanted to show off the Rijidij rear bar & isi bike carrier, both worth their weight in gold on the trip.
Happy to report the 90 performed beautifully, no issues at all.

After a seemingly endless wait, our MY13 110 arrived. it still felt warm off the production line.

We've covered 1000 miles in just over a week (incl some gentle low range work)
Fitted Exbox to house additional fuse box, dual battery controller, accessory plugs and to provide mounting location for UHF and brake controller. Hard wired spotties into LR push switch in dash for neatness. Easiest vehicle I've ever wired-up. Didn't see the need to shift factory-fitted electronics into Exbox. Very happy with the altered ergonomics with exbox.

Decided to use AGM 100ah aux battery on long lead for maximum versatility for placement and accessibility - as opposed to squeezing another battery under passenger seat (besides, would need to find a new home for the jack etc). The second battery can be easily shifted/removed - eg, use with electric outboard.
