Looking the goods,,,
Hope to see you on the road for the obliquitry wave![]()
Hi All, new to the forum so posting some pics of my 08 Defender 110 which we've had for 6 months now. So far we've spent a couple of weeks on Fraser Is and several smaller duration trips to some of the local dams around Toowoomba. Previous veh was an 04 Prado and by comparison the Defender is very 'basic'. But having said that I have to say I love it - it's great to actually drive a vehicle again
. Hopefully the pics turn out.
Thanks Cracka. Yes, you're right, the van is a 2004 Jurgen Expedition off-road pop-top. This model was imported into Australia from South Africa. The current models I understand are made here. We love the compact set up as it still allows us to go on our annual trip to Fraser Island but in a little more comfort to the camper trailer we previously had.
Staring at it out the window while doing an assignment. Hopefully my goodies from Juddy arrive this week so I can fit them next weekend whilst recovering from said assignment.
Well I have finally bought a 130 crew cab. It's a '96 tdi still have the D1 and D2 disco's, Had a 110 deefa ute before our 2nd child was born but had to sell it, now I have another deefa and am very happy.
[quote=weeds;2058050]Whilst we are on the subject of bagpipes and Defenders - here is a shot of myself tuning up at a piping competition last year in front of my Defender. No sound of course and there have been a few bits added since then such as roof rack and bull bar etc.
cheers
