Toward the top part of the track is where I ran into trouble. Took a bad line which didn't help and just became to rocky and steep, I started bouncing across the track and guy behind me told me to stop as it didn't look good in terms of rolling. Had to winch four times up until I could get to a "flat" spot to turn and go back down. If I had lockers I think it would have made it. Lockers and tune is next on the list. The guy behind me in the prado didn't attempt it after me

Lol, funny that ay... I've experienced that a coupla times, where I get stuck all the other brands are happy to poke fun but then wont give it a go to back it up! Agreed though, TC in a 90 doesn't seem to do the same job as a locker should. Lockers are on the list for mine as well.

He was actually very helpful, was not having a go at me at all.

As for traction control it's pretty good but it will only go so far.

Got new spot light covers today from landybitz. Pretty happy with them. They are perentie covers made in black canvas.

Anything against Indus looks great. But yes they look great. I wonder if they make silver ones for Corris Grey Defenders.
    Cheers, Billy.

Finally got to get away on a holiday trip with my Deef after 3 years of ownership. Love the vehicle in so mny ways, short drives, long drives, off road fun and also mountain bike shuttling on some wicked off roads.

She has no name as such except for "The Deef".

Here she is from Barrington Tops, such a majestic place which I shall return and explore further one day. Quite lucky to get 3 days of fine weather and then a cloud (with rain) sat atop the mountain for the next two.

Love seeing this defender parked at bunya all the time! I always seem to be in the other car/motorbike when you're loading/unloading though!

Project Director, it was bliss the first night there, not much sound except peace and forrest! Also was happy to change that standard white patina to a little more to the brown side...

Always wanted one deep bronze green but oh well. May paint the roof in that later.

Wagon Boy, usually my missus out there riding as it is her daily driver while I'm at work. However weekends, time play for me on the MTB. I will have to keep an eye out when you go by and if you wave, I will understand and return the gesture
