I indeed 'grew up' in the B+W self processed film world! Back then, 'ASA' 800 was amazing! Then stuck with my Nikon FM2 for ages, before I sold that and bought a Mamiya 6X7!! Beautiful camera
Digital... a bit 'too easy' but great, to get shots that 30 years ago would have been Lord Snowdon winners! But I am totally amazed about how a hand held image (after a few glasses!) could yield such an amazing resolution of stars!
It has opened up a new field of opportunity! Image the same shot at say 3 sec on a tripod with ISO 1600...
Funny how Defender owners have similar 'DNA'!
The bar has been risen in this thread. I'll be pinching the Wife's Nikon when I next go bush.
