Bet it feels even bigger in the Coles carpark!
Great looking rig, what sort of terrain is the build oriented towards?

New to the site and love it. So impressed with the wealth of knowledge available here and all the people out there willing to give so others can benefit from their wisdom.
I once owned a 2002 TD5 that I loved it to death but stupidly sold it and regretted it ever since. The remedy is a new one so I have attached some pictures of my new love, a 2010 Pumu – and I can’t get the “SEG” off my face every time I drive it. It’s my “play” car but find myself getting in it every day for the drive to work and back.
I loved my old TD5 but I think the Puma is a better car– so far only 5K done in it and other than the wipers stoping where ever you turn them off (usually half way up the windscreen) I can’t fault the thing – its perfect. Very capable off road as was my old one, quieter and the new 6 speed gear box is a delight. 1st low is great for going down those steep hills or crawling over rocks etc...
So far done the dual batteries, ARB bar, 12,000 lb Warn endurance wince, Icon UHF, F&R ARB lockers (have the compressor mounded on the chassis rail under the passenger seat with a air line to the rear so I can pump all 4 car tyres (Cooper STT) as well as the camper tyres. Snorkel, Alpine car radio with BT for the phone, VMS navigator (Brilliant bit of gear) as well as reversing camera and lights and all sorts of odds and sods.
I have a Mulgo box and made a custom cubby with switches for the lockers, compressor, winch isolation switches and other bits and pieces.
Few more things to do – like rock sliders and long range tanks – maybe some bigger tyres one day for the hard trips.
Overall – love the car, love driving it, love this forum and want to thank all of you who take the time to help others.
Now, just to get these pictures published....
Nice looking Puma Symo, any reason for having the air ram off set?
Hercules: 1986 110 Isuzu 3.9 (4BD1-T)
Brutus: 1969 109 ExMil 2a FFT (loved and lost)
Just have it offset to keep the bugs and rain out of it...
A day before it gets delivered but I couldn't wait.. Teflon, my old D2 has been sold & from tomorrow I'll have this to work & play in.
I managed to get to Tempe Tyres while they changed the tyres over to muddies, this weekend I'll install the UHF. Not sure where to put the arial yet though.
My new baby....had it almost 3 weeks and done just over 1000kms in her and loving it. She is a 11MY.....
