Hate to say it, but I agree. I even prefer my weldmesh grille over that, but maybe that just proves I'm not into aesthetics

I for one will be truly amazed if we get all the fruit they're listing. I fully expect that Australia's 110 SVX will just see the wheels, paint, grille, dashboard and maybe the seats. I can't see us getting the full sound system, LED lights, carpet trim, heated seats & front screen, sunroof etc. etc. Australian's in general are just too cheap to pay for all that - plus a lot of it is just plain unnecessary down here (especially the heated stuff).

But I will be pleasantly surprised if I am proven wrong.

...The reason I say this is because Land Rover Australia are notorious for dropping the specs of their new vehicles then claiming that the listed specs were wrong because "they were for an international market" or words to that effect. If you look at all their promotional material it carries a disclaimer that LRA reserves the right to change any of the specifications without notice. I had arguments with them over dropping the iPod connection and front mudflaps from the 07 Defender specs despite having them on all the promotional material.

All that bling and I bet the panels are still not straight and the rivet heads still have no bog over them.

lol. I was stressing one day early on about a few dents in mine (applied by the previous operators) and SWMBO gave one of her pearls of wisdom..

"what are you worried about, they come with cellulite from the factory..."

Yeah but I would rather get cellulite from eating yummy food and not being born with it.

Can accept a defender with a few dents with use but not when when they come with them - what this will cost about $60K+ - no one would accept a Disco or RR with ripples etc from new so why should we accept it in a Defender.

I expect that's why you don't have one then.

I do agree though, it's a tad sub standard. Maybe it's a straight panel aluminium thing.
