I had a look at the manual online and it is quite clear...a security code is required if the remote fails by turning the key in a combination lock fashion to crack the security system.
A work colleague with a D2 had this happen yesterday and a call to the original dealer by the Land Rover savvy auto electrician divulged the code. Car started.
What it has to do with ADR's...well that's another acronym dangerous in the wrong hands...what do some of these sales rep retail clowns do apart from robbing us of oxygen?
BTW thanks for the heads-up

					 - I rang my dealer 3 days ago and got the security code for when the fob is lost - that would suggest they do exist
