    Beefing up rear door??

Now that i'm running 33"s on the landy. I'm a bit worried that the weight of the tyre and rim on the rear door is too much... Is there any thing that can be done to beef up the door mounts to handle the extra weight ???

    Cheers

i thing the main issues are with the door frame itself, my rear door looks like it has cracked a fer times.........a strenghting kit has been fitted to the door frame. i cannot recall ant posts where members have indicated the hinges have failed

Just get a Bearmach rear wheel carrier and take the weight off the door.. once fitted you have no difference in operation as it is connected to he door so it opens with it.
Better then stuffing around trying to boost a door which is rated to take the weight of the much bigger tyres.. IMO
