Nope! I've driven through some of the worst rain I ever have, (couldn't see the front of the bonet at times), the other weekend and all remained dry. I actually phoned the dealer to complain that he may have sold me a disco....
Tim
god no
vents are gone an now the wet feet.............
next thing people will be calling us soft roaders
130's rule
No leaks here in the cabin - and it has been driven in a few of the most torrential downpours we've had over summer.
I have found evidence of some water in the rear cargo area under the matting on the wheel-arch boxes. There are certainly still a few holes where water can come UP from underneath. One leak we did have up front through the driver's side door was the result of the door seal not being seated correctly and was easily fixed.
I test drove one that had only 150km on it and it was leaking on my right foot. (One of the few days in Melbourne that it has rained)
The leak came from the seal between windscreen frame / firewall.
haven't noticed any leaking on ours yet...
it sat on the driverway for the 2 really bad storms we had go through sydney a few weeks back and the only thing that leaked and got soaked was the roof top tent
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
I know this is off topic but can you new owners confirm if the ECU on the Puma has been moved from under the seat (TD5) to the back of the engine bay?
Yes. The ECU is mounted on the firewall higher than where it used to be under the seat and in a fully sealed box.
No Leaks now, silastic solves all, just gotta loose a few Kilo's so as the entry/exit through the widows is a litle easier!!!!
