Bet you're really getting itchy to drive it now. I'm still undecided whether to upgrade or not.

I am deciding whether to withdraw my invitation for YOU to stay at our place on you way through...mind you Vala and Mrs dm_td5 are welcome

She will be the first of my vehicles to be given a real name...not normally a family tradition.

Although my mother had a name for Dad's Citroens: "the French Mistress" and this title was invoked accompanied with the rolling of eyes when Dad was late for the Sunday roast due to being underneath the aforementioned. Subsequently mine have been called Italian and English Mistresses.

    But I digress.

    So her name

I was going to call her "Rivets" but that hardly befits a lady.

My partner's son started calling her "the Destroyer"...again hardly feminine or politically correct in these days of anti-4wd sentiment.

However given that Tata now owns the marque I figured that it would be a appropriate to call her "Shiva" after the Hindu god(dess) of destruction. So that will probably stick.

Yes, I've come out of hiding. Trying to work out the car though and internet access is limited whilst we are in Melbourne.

Is looking more and more like a new Defender
