    For those that want to know, I've just been quoted for my amsoil:

    A 9.5L can of AME 15W/40 ( fully synthetic diesel engine oil ) will set you back $95.

    Yeah, I was wrong with the viscosity of the oil.. my failing memory. it was a 40 weight.

    I think I might need to clean the oil separator thingo that's hanging off the crankcase too!

    Someone else suggested today that it might be coming more from the crankcase than the turbo. I know in a petrol you can see if there's a lot of "blowby" at the oil cap, can you do the same on the diesel or am I just going to get oil splattering everywhere?
