    UHF Mounting

    Gday

    i have got hold of a GME TX3200 uhf radio off a mate, i have no idea where to mount it.

    i was jsut wondering would the fellas on this forum with UHFs installed mind posting some photos of where they fitted theres please?

    thanks for ur pictures

    i am a bit tight for money so i dunno bout the overhead console. the cubby box would have been great but i took it out to put the middle seat back in

    any other suggestions?

    my overhead console is made of ply and would have cost 30 bucks to make at most.. and is dammed convenient as well.

    it gpoes from side to side and is held in place by two bolts.

    i think there is a pic in my gallery, will go have a bopeep and add it if i find it.

    Not much help to you - mine is on the front of the cubby box (actually the airconditioned that replaces the cubby box).

    I made myself one of this.


    I'm using a Yaesu 8900 with detachable display unit. the main body (radio) is fitted inside the cubby box. Visit the DIY post for this project :-
