after reading inc post
ran the rig over the pit today
changed
engine oil and filter
fuel filter
air filter
checked all fluid levels
greased drive shafts, pitman arm and pto
adjusted handbrake
fitted new nylocks to the rear output flange
when to change the t-case rear output cause i thought it was leaking again, only to find the bit of oil around this area was the leak from the pto drive that i knew was there.....
looked towards the drivers side rear wheel and noticed the oil on the back of the rig was coming from hub seal that i only replaced a few weeks ago
will trade the rear output seal for another hub seal and follow everybody advise and knock it all the way in....getting sick of changing this hub seal, i checked the breather and it was clear, left the filler plug out while oi operated the air locker and could not hear and leaks
i put a grease nipple in the pitman arm ball joint when i fitted it last time, bloody hard to pump grease in and the rubber boot keeps popping off, will see if a zip can hold it in place
just got to address the oil leaks from the rocker cover and vaccum pump thingy
my fuel lift pump does not work but the rig seems to bleed itself after changing the fuel filter....well a bit of coughing and spluttering and she is away, is this alright or should i fit a new one?
umm, better start a service maintenance list for my planned high country trip next year
