    Rear Sliding Windows

I have a 2001 Defender Extreme and I’m get sick of the rear sliding windows rattling all the time and leaking when it rains. I know it’s a defender so it should let in some water but I still want to fix it. They are also a pain to access the rear of the truck through.

Has any done or heard of a mod that replaces the rear windows with something else that would solve the problem?

    Thanks for any help.

There is a fix and i need to do it as well, but have not had the time to do a search on here to find the relevant thread. It involves going to a place like clark rubber or similar and getting a rubber "channel" replacement, and then fitting it. The fitting part is where the fun begins, but as mentioned before there is a thread on this forum somewhere with pretty good instructions on how to do it.
I will get to it someday.......
i know this reply is fairly useless, but at least you know now that it has been done with good results

I installed a lift up window. I am extremely happy with it. The handles could have been a little smaller but I haven't caught it up on anything to date.
