    Susspention Question????

    Hi there All,

I need to replace the shocks and coils on my 2002 Defender TD5. Its done 110k, so I don't think its done to bad. I don't want to do any susspention modification (Lift), all I want to do is to replace the stock shocks with the best options available.

So my question to all of you who have some experience regarding this matter is, "What brand and type would you recommend?"

    Thanks,

    Jurgens

Do you have a Winch and Bar? If so, NRC9448 and NRC9449 front H'duty LR coils are your best bet, and unless the rear ones are sagged, leave them alone as they are fantastic quality. 1" coil spacers under the rears will make a little difference if you are using the NRC 9448/9 front coils without a winch and bar.

The shockabsorbers I recommend and fit are DeCarbon gas, you can get them through Rovacraft in Perth. Fantastic shocks with great valving and I have been using them for a loonnngg time on my vehicle and very happy with them. They are about 50% of the cost of Koni's and about $80 cheaper each than Bilsteins, but are still a VERY good shock. Bilsteins and Koni are the only other 2 brands I'd recommend otherwise.
