    Difference between 07 & 08 defender

I am planning to buy a new defender, while it takes time to get a band new one from dealer, there are a few used or ex-demo cars in the market, I am just wonderring is there any difference between the 07 and 08 model? either mechanical or electrical, they look pretty the same
    Cheers

A few things fixed - Fuel breather, sump, A-frame - as the model progressed. Other than that I believe they are the same.

Yeah - but many 07's have the same A frame i.e - bolts not welded (mine does) and the sumps are all recalls now so they'll be changed and I relocated the fuel breather myself!

What's the issue with the A frame? Do I want a welded one or a bolted one? Is it a warranty/recall issue?

    Thanks

Have a look first - mine is in the VIN range (as are many other vehicles) but it has the original bolt up arrangement - nothing welded whatsoever - so yours too may be fine
