    SVX Defender

    Hi all,
At work during this week we set up a new Def SVX.
I took a few photos with my phone so all can have a quick look.
I will let u all be the judge of the accessoreis etc.

Garmin Nuvi fitted, Just run wiring behind dash & out at windscreen (Sorry dm_td5) No special wiring as first thought as u can see with the plug!

You can just make the Land Rover & Recaro emblems embossed in the leather seats, And yes they are damn comfy..

Seat bases are still removable & HEATED...oohh!

    Australian Edition Number 23.

This vehicle was a sold variant, now is for sale.

    Leather steering wheel...Is very nice.

Special Matt Black decals with "60 Years" & Rubber Aluminium side steps.

Limited Wheels for the Defender. Defender cast into the rim & bright finish centre cap.

Does the Nuvi's cable disappear down the very rear of the dash then plug in to the accessory socket?

Those seats do look nice but given the price I heard they go for in the UK Standard Defender ones will do nicely.

Limited edition wheels for the Defender, "Defender" cast into the rims & a bright finish centre cap.

All rear lights LED & clear, limited badging. The lights work great at night time & are VERY bright.

Front light are also clear & are very bright. Better than the standard lights.

    Yes that is carpet throughout

    All throughout the 7 seats..

Yes that is a Sunroof-manual of course, none of this electrical stuff the Defender.

Silver centre console, Clarion Head unit with ipod connecion at the glove box area to the left near the grab handle. 3.5mm plug at rear of stereo too. Heated seat switches...

Matt Black Bonnet decal also incororating the "60 Years"

A general shot of the rear. Shows lights, wheels & badging.

    Cheers.

p.s. It gets lots of looks on the test drive, it turns faces...It was strange.

    Hi Derek,
No we removed the centre console & ran the cable kind of the way LR wanted us but changed it a little as it was supposed to run across the front of the console, didnt like the look of it so changed it. We had to remove the top centre screw of the console basically against the W/Screen & apply a small amount of pressure to lift it to get the plug out, we then made a small hole for the cable to come through & that is it.

So it's still the original cable then with the accessory plug one end and the Garmin plug in to the Nuvi the other... weird

Was the dashboard mount a stick on disk to which the suction cup attaches?

Can't say I like the rear lights on the black panels. I think they would look very good on a Silver Defender though

Nice thanks for the Pics Pete still not sure about that front end but it will no doubt grow on me.

Look forward to hearing some feedback from owners when they get them.
