    It's not a myth......the svx is here

    Went into Trivett today as arranged and there it was, a new sparkling black svx No 12 on the plate, i must say i was a bit nervous as i drove off only ever driven a defender for an hour on a demo run and replacing a my maloo with the svx.
    I love it, it looks far better in the flesh than the pictures, the front seats are as reported very comfortable, the sound system is good and the i pod docking station is a lead hanging down and you go to fm 87.7.......i wonder how long it took the r&d department to come up with that one I am tinting up the windows tomorrow and ordering the mats.
    Anybody with one on order i don't think you will be dissapointed.

    Congratulations Scotsmun!

    I gather that the sunroof does not come with a sun shade (from the pictures that I can see from previous posts), is the factory tinting on the glass sunroof sufficiently dark to cope with the Australian sun? ie driving in mid day sun in summer?

    Thanks labbos, the sunroof is tinted and so far has not caused any concern, it would not be hard to get a screen made up for it, i had some made for my boat which would work perfectly for the sunroof.

    this is the best the boffins can come up with........an extra metre of cable would have been nice so it reached over to the driver.......hey i guess the extra 10k didn't allow for that.

    The sunroof needs Ambulance tint on it because it does get a bit glary, today was a sunny day here and the sun did get a bit annoying.......so on Tuesday it gets the tint on.
