Ive also done jacket pockets as well- they have been torn clean off.
I must admit it mainly happens when i get in or out too quickly when i am rushing between jobs. If one is very short then i suppose you could be left hanging in mid air.
It is an art to get in and out of a landrover defender - maybe someone can make an instructional video. HaHA

I've been 'dakked' twice in the same week- was caught by suprise on the first occasion and pain annoyed with my self on the second. I have seat rail extensions so I sit really far back, Just waiting for the old girl to bight back again.

tore another belt loop off today , not as funny though as on tuesday when my 68 year old mum was trying to get in the passenger seat with no side steps .she asked for some assistance so i just yelled out the drivers window to my ten year old son to get a pointy stick and hurry her up seemed to speed the loading process up a bit: angel:

I have been "dacked" so many times during my army days in series 2's 3's and perenties and in later years in some civie 130's that I was required to drive I just learnt to always have a needle and thread in my personal gear.

I can remember getting caught up on some quick exits both on exercises and active service even after removing doors (back in the days when this was considered SOP and not a workplace safety violation) those damn catches.
I can remember getting caught up with my webbing, rifle slings and all other loose equipment.

Funny thing since I have a Disco nowdays and seldom drive any "Defender Type" vehicles my sewing kit does not seem to get much of a workout.

Yeah! I've ripped 2 pair of trousers getting into mine. I am sure a thorough search of Landrover's books would find a sizable investment in a jeans factory.

    Cheers,
