You need to have a drive of mine one day Andrew. It's quite surprising. It's faster than a rangie V8 let alone a puma.![]()

Where do they keep the flame suits around here ?
EDIT: I'm sure Phil's or one with the IC done as well would be frightening. Put it in a little body like the 90...![]()

Ex 300Tdi Disco:
My chipped and IC D2 would spin all 4 wheels and fishtail on a dirt road if you put the foot to the floor at under 40kph, then the TC would kick in.
OK the Puma isn't like that - its got better TC for starters. But the pulling power and lack of turbo lag make it a whole lot different vehicle.

Well MY Puma is faster than an Enzo and thanks to the TC can make the earth rotate backwards on its axis when I take off at the lights and .... oh the hell with it...
Well... not only is mine faster than yours... but it can do a trick that yours can't. If there is a car behind me, all I have to do is select a high gear and plant it. The car behind completely disappears in a cloud of black smoke! If you're lucky, and they had the windows open, if you get out of the throttle you can see your smoke billowing from their cabin and the occupants hanging out the window gasping for air

Seriously, as I've said before I love the puma and would get one if our car wasn't just setup the way we like it, and so new! I did enjoy that drive in yours.![]()
2005 Defender 110
personally i think a normally chipped td5 would not pull away from a puma that easily...as for phils well no contest he has the top racing chip big intercooler silkicone hoses etc etc....of course his is fast....but he runs out of gears quicker than we do![]()
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Just had mine ECU chipped in Perth supposedly to UK speccs an thouroughly recomend doing this torque is unbelievable in fact on paper is more than V8 landcruiser!!. Fuel economy wont change if you drive it the same speed as it was without chip ( pretty hard to do!!!), but does change dramatically if you use all of it but you are only talking a few litres /100K.
Standard they are speed limited at about 135K I think but now although i havent pushed it real hard but gets to 140 no problem. I believe this can be altered on the ECU.
Be aware that some can cost as much as $1690 to do. I did this at a cost of $535 which was not a add on.
Well my Tdi goes slower than the lot of you !
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
