    transfer case

    Hi
Need some advice on why, when I select low range centre diff lock in my 1987 County that only one front wheel will spin and none at the back will turn. The light on the dash does not come on, (never did since I have had it.)

The answer to that is very simple......The diff lock is not being engaged!

Hi LRO, Most likely it is a vacuum actuator problem. Either one of your vacuum lines has come adrift (unlikely) or else the rubber diaphragm in the actuator is stuffed (likely). Check if the actuator is working. Regards....Bearman

    87 Brian, I'm guessing LT230

Which means pokeing the head under and seeing if all the actuating levers are operateing the swivel tang on the nose of the case, if thats the case

    Hi
Thanks for that, turned out to be the pin was missing out of the lever, so when i went to shift into cdl low the bigger pin would move but the lever stayed where it was. all fixed now. It is a lt230
