Did you have heavier springs put in the front?
When the parcel with my new front springs arrives (HD OEM's) I'll be upgrading the front end.
Be interesting to see if anything comes of this as I certainly have no BOIING type of noise from the suspension or anything else at present.
Having said that, I have also experienced my handbrake locking on, but you know what it is as you cant move,but it lets go with a "bang"that wakes up Christchurch, not a "boing".

1. the handbrake... it can still be this, if the slack adjuster (not the cable/linkage adjustment) had not been set correctly and youve taken it up on the cable/linkage adjustment and then given the vehicle a good mud run the shoes and application wedge will be sticking at the "not on but not off" position. a vibration then makes the shoes pull back and providng the return springs arent full of crap they will "broing"
2. the suspension... have a look at the upper spring locating plates you should see on them a "tang" when you unload the suspension on one side occasionally the spring will unsettle and grab on the tang not much just a little and then again when just the right vibration comes along it will let go and the spring sproings. occasionally it happens the other way, as your compressing the spring (parking with it cross axled is a perfect example) and the tang will stop the spring from compressing all the way... shake it and "sproing"....
I get to go do a look see about once a month and twice on every 110 drivers course. theres an FFR I can get to do the suspension one on demand..
the counties did it, the discos do it, the perenties do it and big red does it...
theres solutions for it but I think its character and should be left alone.

forgot, since its a chassis mounted noise it translates to different areas very effectively...

Have you hit any big holes lately or had some serious cross articulation action :twisted: (sounds a bit rude, dosen't it :wasntme:)
The other thing you can do is just wait untill the noise gets a lot louder and people driving past start to point and stare!! Follow their pointing it will be easy to find then :p
