    110 Double Cabs

    Hi All,

    My girlfriend and I are planning to emmigrate to Aus in the near future and were thinging about bringing our 110 TD5 Double cab with us.

    Are they type approved in Aus?

    Hi Ben,

    That doesn't really matter. You will just have to meet a few ADR's all of which are fairly simple.

    (I brought over a td5 90 Hard top in 2007)

    The more dificult side of it is geting import approval. You need to speak to DOTARS, and apply. (thats quite cheap to do)

    Some basic requirements include the ownership and use of teh vehicle for at least 12 months prior to import (you need to be able to prove this)

    they are, but very vew exist in australia. Most of them are station wagon conversions, but a few originals exist about the place.
