    Water retention issue

I got in to the Tdi Defender this morning. Haven't driven the poor thing since last Wednesday and in that time we have had at least 12" of rain, the monsoonal weather has been almost unrelenting until yesterday as that cyclone formed down the bottom of the Gulf and then took all the weather with it over to Far North Queensland.

    Anyway enough about the weather...

I got in the Tdi to find I'd left the driver's side window half way down for a week in the wet season

Well it turns out this has obviously improved the drainage as there was only a damp smear of moisture on the driver's side floor mat of the Defender Normally after only a few mm of rain there's a puddle on the floor this time of year. Doesn't help that I forget to close the vents either

Do you think there's something wrong with the Defender that its not retaining water?

    Diabetes insipidus!

Did someone knock it on the head recently?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
