did you give the seal a lick of grease on the lips?
righto i have been having troubles with my drivers side rear hub seal.....just fitted a new one and have driven around the block and no leaks woohoo
the new stubb axle that i fitted last time round (6mths ago) is in perfect nick, the old seal after i knocked it out of the hub slid over the stub axle with no effort...buggered
i put the new seal in using the drive flange to set the depth.....thats to the forum members who suggested this
gave the bearings a lick of grease as i have maxi axles fitted and need to wait til the oil works it way out
will see how long it lasts
bad news, discovered one of the poly airs has a hole in itwill start a new thread on this one
