defender gearbox/engine swap
hi if have a 2004 defender 90 and if find that the gearbox is too low ratio for road driving. i use it for a little off road driving but mainly on road. I thought of putting a dicovery gearbox on but i dont know if you can. My other option would to swap the whole engine for a big v8 thanks very much

Or throw a set of 255/85/16's or 285/75/16's on it, but as the boys above have said, fit the Disco 1.22:1 high range gears in your existing t/case, or swap a complete Disco t/case in.
