    Won't idle

Hoping someone can give me a hand.

The county I bought last year won't idle properly and it runs on after the ignition is switched off.

Can the 3.5 L V8 run on unleaded? It used to run LPG so I presume it has hardened seats for the valves.

    Please help...

If it still has the original Lucas distributor, get rid of it and fit a Bosch. It was the best thing I ever did to my County when it had the V8 in it. Then I had it dyno tuned by a guy who really knows his stuff.
If it used to run on LPG, the timing might be set wrong for running on petrol.

    The dizzy

The dizzy that is fitted is an electronic unit, and I don't know if it is a Bosch or Lucas.Where do I find it on the dizzy? Did the 85 3.5L County's come with electrnic ignition?
I will be checking the advance curve tomorrow... hopefully.
