    do you suggest being the novice that i am to rather leave it alone or am I going to open a can of worms by trying to strip it off.

    Mate, they are well glued in with 271 Loctite, but a good rattle gun should get them free.
    We were pretty impressed how tight mine were when we rattled them off, but that's better than having them loose.
    Just check the bolts for stretch after you've removed them, or just get a set of new ones. Last time I did mine they were fine and I re-used them

    yay got the sucker off, went and hired a rattle gun from Kennies only 1/2 inch drive. Pretty hopless at removing bolts so thought what the H and put some effort into the power bar and out they came. Now Locktite 271 $71 per 50 ml goint to buy 200 of them and stash them away, they are worth more than gold Hope full to have her re-assembled by end of tomorrow, Thanks for every ones help.
