    Suspension swap

    Hi all

Is a 1986 Range Rover front axle housing similar to a 1995 Defender 130?

If I can't sell my Range Rover and I decide to part it out, I am hoping the front end will fit in a Defender 130 to save me having to buy front MD locker/axles.

    Thanks
    Andrew

I had a RR front end in my 110. The radius arm bushes are differnt sizes so you will want the 130 ones. The brake calipers will also intercange ok as well. Have fun

    Thanks for the advice

After some thought, i have decided to not part out my Rangie and try to sell it whole.

I pick up my 130 in two weeks from Ballarat...then drive it back to Brisbane (Fly down and drive back in one hit) ...it's going to be an interesting trip!

    Cheers

Flying and picking up a car's great fun, i flew Sydney to Bundaberg a few weeks back to pick up a Range Rover, took my wife with me and made a three day weekend out of it...and prayed the car would make it the whole way home!
