What's the best way to wire in a work lamp?

The pic makes the garage roof look closer than it is....but a roof rack may test the situation!!!

No switch on the back of the light as I didn't want some clown to switch it on a flatten the batteries. :D I have a switch mounted to the front of the Cubby Box. Good to flick on when reversing at night.:)

That's what I was thinking of, but not on the cubby. I'm also thinking of mounting the light on the roof rack.

I think I would have mounted that L-profile the other way round. So the lamp would have hidden it and the two bolts. The lamp would have been a bit lower as well.

Thanks Daniel,

I thought the same at first but I will see how it goes. From what I can see, I can simply unbolt it and turn it upside down and the holes should line up.:)

Don't know how far out the bracket comes but you might find that the nut holding the lamp could be touching the 'gutter' when you turn it.
