Thread: Tare Weights ??????

Hi all,
Iam a little confused !
I dont understand when everyone says " beacause the Defender is a heavier vehicle" .
According to my handbook the difference between a 1997 Discovery and my new Defender is about 10kg ! So tell me why it is HEAVIER ?
Do you mean heavier duty ?
Why are the springs so different if the vehicle weighs the same ?
Tell me !!!!!!!

dont worrie about tare weights, have a look at their GVM's. they might be close in tare but the pay load of the defenders will be more than the disco's.
