    Colour-coded flares

To all who have these: Are they made of rigid plastic? The black ones on my white 110 are a bit squashy and I reckon not up to being painted... I have heaps of jobs to do but hey, do the important ones first, eh?

The colour coded ones are just as soft as the black ones, but are painted. It is possible the plastic has a different surface finish is the only difference.

the ones on my 90 are painted black, where the tyres usta rub has worn the paint off, apart from that there is no sign of the paint coming off.

Thanks guys, I'll mention the 'flexing agent' (probably just olive oil!) when I get round to the cosmetic work. Right now I've bigger fish to fry, like timing belt and temperamental gear selection...
