    Rear jacking points 07 my Defender on wards.

    A guy on Defender 2 site had his above collapse due to what seems to be poor welding of the tube to the rear cross member,check yours.

    If it ever stops raining (5 days so far) it's on the list. I've got to give the Puma a really good once over before the big trip.

    What jacking points

    I'm serious I didn't know they had any always just jack off the bottom of the brackets for the anti roll bar
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    One on my LRs has got a very long jack with a tubular protusion that slots into the holes in the rear X-member, so I guess the Puma has one of these. I must admit to not even opening the Jack after owning it for over a year.

    db,the jacking points are the two large holes each end of the rear cross member

    Oh OK thanks for that ......So they give us jacking point but no recovery points good on yeah landrover

    I only use the supplied jack if I cannot use a bottle jack - it's fairly rare that you can't get near level to change a wheel.
