    water sensor?

    do defenders have water sensors on the fuel sys??, cos there is no sensor on fuel filters like the discos 2?? cos all the stuff is there like light on dash an that?? an its in the hand book,

    bottom of filter on TD5 2000.

    i gota 04 110 td5,, an there isent one,,, should there be, could it be that it had been changed an they brock the sensor an just tucked the plug away cos it had just the dran on there,,, no sensor,

    Up to 02my there was the sensor like the D2, but then removed the plug & changed the wiring loom & no more sensor.

    ohk,, was there eny resion to this,, cos water in fuel is a very bad thing for this cars, an i would like to no when to hit the kill switch befor the water dose that for me

    As Syniegy says it was removed with the 02 model year.

    I think it was removed as it wasn't exactly reliabe or accurate in its warnings.

    Mine has the sensor, and in 7 years it has never gone off, not once. (No idea if it still works)
