Thread: Arrrhhhh, Were do they go.......

Hey Guys,

I have just about got the Cab of the fender back together, but I have two "plates" that I cannot seem to work out were they go.

The look they have black rust proofing on them so my guess is they are from under the cab.

(I have worekd out were the Black bracket goes, just need to know about the two silver plates)

They are spacer shims used to take up factory assembly 'tolerances' where brackets bolt to various mounting points. They just slip in once the bolts are loosely in place and take up the gap to prevent bending the components when the bolts are tightened. Its surprising how many some vehicles have.
