    35 in tyres

    G'day guys just wondering how much work i would have to do to get 35 inch tyres onto the defender was going to put 33 but now been thinking and 35 seem more exciting for off road . defender is lifted about 1 inch at mo .. Thanks in advance ....

    2" lift spring will be fine. bit of rubbing but still ok.

    2in lift and some minor trimming to the flares will fit 35s no worries, i ran them on stock suspension, now running 37s on a 2in lift but i have done quite a bit of cutting now.

    Mine is a 85 county with an lt95, gearing in high range is great with 37s, low range could be better, but its still better then what most other brands offer standard

    as said above 2" spring lift is enough... chopping will depend on the width of tyres you're going for. I'm running 35x12.5's and have spaced my existing flares out but 70mm and pretty good on full articulation.

    Thanks guys just another question whats involved in the 2 inch lift just springs and shocks ar eneed to do caster correction or any other things ? Thanks . Out law is that your twin cab looks GREAT . thats what iam after ...

    Yeah thats all you need realy
    No need to worry about caster unless you go over 3''

    Yeh, springs and shocks will get you a 2in lift no worries, try www.Suspensionstuff.com.au - he is easy to deal with, very helpful and cheap!

    another vote for shane at suspension stuff, he was incredibly helpful, i even called him after hours on a friday and he answered my questions
