    Boast post - my chequer plate sill protectors

    Here is a picture of my Defender with the new sill protectors a mate cut, bent and installed for me. It was more work than we thought actually.

    I like them a lot and needed to pose. They wrap around top and bottom.

    PS The rear tytre is not as bald as it looks. It has come off the front and has seen better days due to wheel allignment issues. It's a Bridgie 607 with about 51000kms. Plenty of tread left or at least enough for 5-10km.

    Yeah have had them for ages. I have to say they are one of of the most useful additions to a standard Defender. I go so far as to say I'd strongly recommend them to people who dislike the look of chequer plate. Tools, beers, lunch and the occasional size 10 boot (and don't all these things go hand in hand with Defending?). They handle them all.
