    Defender flares

    Just got the 35s fitted onto the defender and they stick out a bit from the flares on the arches can any one suggest an easy fix that i can do ? Thanks in advance .

    I've seen people extend the standard flares by running a strip of aluminium between the flare and the guard.

    Little hard to explain but if you can imagine buying some 30mm wide (for example) 2mm thick alu strap bending it to match the wheel arch and inserting it as a spacer between the flare and the actual guard you'll get the idea.

    bunnings garden edging I've heard.
    Haven't tried it tho'
    Also don't they advertise flare extentions in LRO mags?

    Les Richmond Automotive have just developed an extension for the Defender Flares.

    Yes they have but its $700.00 was hoping to do for less . Still many more things to do to the fender ...
