Thread: rear spring rates

i have two sets of springs in my garage, want to compare spring rates against the standard one i have fitted, oh by the way what are the standards springs rated at

standard 95 defender spring rate = ???? lbs
unknown set = more info to follow
king spring KLRR-05 = ???? lbs

i just got under the arse end of mine for you mine are KLRRR 320LBS
custom springs //// or so it says .

My fronts are stuffed and rusty as so no use going to look there for part numbers !

Kings quoted me on 400lbs 22 mm wire for the back end of mine with 9.5 turns for $260 a pair .

Having load bearing is fine but i find u lose articulation on overly heavy springs .

Lovells here in WA have given me the biggest run around , i am not impressed with them at all , where as Kings have bent over backwards to help out .
I even went so far as to ring Lovells in NSW and complain to the manager her name is Taneeka , she was not amused either ... yet they stiull stuff me around and everyone else with a Defender
