    110 Defender and camper

My 110 defender should be here any day now and i'm looking at a camper that will go where the 110 will go, probably in a hard top. Needs to be big enough for a family (3-4 kids).
What have you got, and what would you change or get differently.
I've been looking strongly at the Tvan.

    Cheers Lance

    Hi,
Must be exciting, still quite a bit longer before I can order one.
If you want to look at MySwag, there is lots on campers of all styles being discussed there.

    cheers

The Kimberley Karavan would be a "very cheap" alternative
    Link HERE

I am contemplating in building a compact van, the Eclipse from Australian offroad campers looks nice. The link is HERE

The Conqueror Comander is another nice model and I think that it is an agent in South Australia
The link is HERE for the home page OS

I hope that this info help

    Cheers

Wisey110 - we have 2 kids also but are finally chucking them out in a tent.
Have a Pioneer Arglye SE. It coped fine with 2 adults and 2 kids on stretchers, putting 3 in there on one of those bunk stretchers would be even better.
Camper goes anywhere the fenda does and is extremely comfy.
When looking we narrowed it to Pioneer, Tvan and Aussie Swag - all have great points - just price and timing that put us onto Pioneer.
Changes? - only change would be the wheels so they matched the 110 but thats a luxury. Only mods I have done are Dual batteries (supplied with1 - but paralleled a second) and LED lights (4x4equip) on the kitchen - will do LEDs inside when I get back from this trip. Also will upgrade the water tank to 120 from the 60ltr standard. Oh - the jockey wheel supplied was to light IMHO so i replaced that with a h/duty one - just because it makes me feel comfier
